Stirling is situated in the central belt of Scotland and is ideally placed for visiting the major cities and attractions. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are close by and are ideal for hill walkers and cyclists. Bikes can be hired at Loch Katrine in the Trossachs

We are a short drive away from 9 and 18 hole golf courses and the championship courses of Gleneagles (30 min scenic drive) and St Andrews, the home of golf,( a pleasant 1 hour drive) are worth a visit even just to walk and take in the amazing scenery.

For the fishing enthusiasts Orchill Fishery is a 30 min drive.

The surrounding countryside is magnificent but a visitor to Stirling cannot leave without visiting the splendor of Stirling Castle and the uniquely beautiful Wallace Monument. The Old Town Jail, Church of the Holy Rude and Argyll Lodgings are other attractions close to Stirling Castle.

The Falkirk Wheel is an approx 20 min drive.
